Our journey started with acoustic research conducted by the British Ministry of Defense. In 2012, Tectonic acquired the intellectual property and advanced it through further research and development aimed at improving intelligibility and coverage in public spaces.

Since then, we have expanded our range of transducers and acoustic modules using our proprietary technologies that deliver immersive audio from unique form factors. Today, our technology can be found in speakers, soundbars, VR headsets, conferencing systems, luxury vehicles, portable PA systems, and numerous other applications.
