Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) was incorporated on the third of August in 1988 as a joint venture between the Metrobank Group and Japan’s Toyota Motor Corporation. Its current shareholders are the Philippine conglomerate GT Capital Holdings, TMC, and Mitsui & Co. Ltd.
TMP operates its head office and manufacturing plant within the 82-hectare Toyota Special Economic Zone in Laguna. The facility assembles the Vios, Innova, and Tamaraw models and has an annual production capacity of 60,000 units.
The company operates with nine (9) organizational units: Affiliate Operations Support & Audit, Comptrollership, Corporate Affairs, General Administration, Manufacturing, Marketing, Purchasing, Treasury, and Vehicle Logistics.
