SKPI was established on 7 July 1999 and has signed the registration agreement with PEZA on August 1999 under which it was officially recognized as an exporting manufacturer. SKPI is a 100% Japanese owned company with a capital share of 75% from Sohbi Kohgei Co. Ltd. and 25% from Hanwa Co. Ltd.
The factory plant was constructed at the LIMA Technology Center in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines with current land area of 20,281 sq.m and building area of 10,431 sq.m. The factory started its commercial operation in April 2000.
The Company’s product lines are high precision metal stamped parts and assembly units of sub-assembly parts and components for electronic machinery, OA (Office Automation) equipment, and other precision equipment, bended tube for motorbike parts, and automated jigs.
