Sekisui Jushi Philippines Group was incorporated on October 2, 1996 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sekisui Jushi Corporation. The name of the company was changed to Summit Strapping Corporation on September 6, 1999. Summit Strapping Corporation is engaged in the manufacture and sales of Polypropylene strapping band.

Sekisui Jushi Philippines Incorporated, a solar powered road traffic safety products manufacturer wholly owned subsidiary of Sekisui Jushi Corporation was established on December 10, 1999. On April 1, 2007, Summit Strapping Corporation (SSC) was owned 100% by Sekisui Jushi Corporation located in Japan, the world’s largest embossed strap producer.
