Mira’s Food and Agriventure began as a humble endeavor by Almira Silva, a wife of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), to support her family. In 2014, Almira ventured into piggery and organic farming in San Salvador, Lipa City, Batangas. With no formal plans to expand her efforts, she started planting turmeric and ginger on a small portion of their farm, intending to make use of their organic compost. This small decision became the foundation of a thriving business.
Mira’s Food and Agriventure goes beyond profit. The company sources raw materials from local farmers and cooperatives, providing sustainable livelihoods for communities in Batangas and beyond. Housewives also benefit as distributors, earning extra income for their families.
Today, Mira’s Food and Agriventure is a leader in natural health products, offering turmeric brews, ginger teas, and herbal powders nationwide and globally.
