Mekeni Food Corporation is a multi-awarded food company established in 1986 by public school teachers Felix and Medicia Garcia. Mekeni distributes high-quality products from Luzon to Mindanao and exports products to countries like Australia, Bahrain, Brunei, Canada, Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, UAE, and the US.
Our founders built Mekeni to augment the family’s income. However, after the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991, they realized that they want to turn Mekeni into a company that provides livelihood and employment opportunities. Through the hard work and dedication of its leaders and employees, the company grew to be one of the largest food companies in the country.
