EMD Technologies Philippines Inc. (EMTEPH), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of EM Devices Corporation. EMTEPH is formerly known as NEC Tokin Electronics (Philippines) Inc. in 2002 and NEC Components Philippines, Inc. in 1996.
On April 14, 2017, the Electromechanical Devices Division of NEC Tokin Corporation in Japan carved out and started to operate under its new business name EM Devices Corporation. Consequently, EMTEPH started to operate under the new business name on June 01, 2017.
For more than 25 years, EMTEPH has been supplying power relays on many automotive switching applications such as Power Windows, Memory Seats, Sunroof Control, Shift Transfer, Wiper Control, Defogger Auto Antenna, Head Lamp, etc.
These miniature relays fulfill global demands for compact relays with low power consumption. EMTEPH takes pride in being the world’s leading supplier of these products to automotive markets.
