Emco Plywood Corporation is a plywood manufacturing plant situated in Barangay Sto.Rosario, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte. In 2016, Mr. Donald G. Elorde took over the company from the previous management who ceased its operation in October 2013 and filed a Rehabilitation Program under court receivership. Under the new management, Emco reopened on May 30, 2016, marking a new chapter in its operations.

Since the takeover, Emco has made remarkable strides in the plywood industry. In October 2022, the company was granted with the Philippine Standard Quality Mark License (License No. Q-4483) in accordance with the Department Administrative Order No. 20-06 Series of 2020, PNS ISO 12465:2017, and their respective guidelines. The company successfully passed the annual audit in 2023, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in quality and compliance. Emco has maintained its dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainable practices over the past eight years.

The company continues to adhere strictly to quality standards set by the Bureau of Product Standards (BPS) and government regulations, consistently producing and distributing high-quality plywood across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

On June 7, 2024, Emco Plywood Corporation was recognized as the Best Trusted Plywood Manufacturing Company by the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence. This accolade reflects the company’s unwavering commitment to
superior service in the manufacturing sector.
